Our instructors come from all different walks of life. Learn more about our team and how they can help your swimmer grow.

Swim Instructor

Fares

Fares has been a Swim Instructor with Graceful Swimming for 3 years and has over 4 years of experience teaching swim lessons. He has taught swimmers from ages 24 months up to adult! Fares has also worked with children with various special needs and is great at changing up his teaching style to best fit each swimmer. Outside of the pool he is a decorated varsity athlete in several sports and adores the thrill of competing as well as succeeding!

Swim Instructor

Lilah

 Lilah has been a swim coach and taught learn-to-swim lessons for 2 years! She has taught all kinds of swimmers from 5-18 years old. She was a competitive swimmer for over 4 years and she currently plays soccer and runs at Jordan High School. Outside the pool, she loves reading and spending time with friends.

Swim Instructor

Brooke

Brooke has been swimming competitively for 8 years and is currently a swimmer for Katy Aquatics. She is Varsity Captain for Taylor High School and has competed in the state competition twice!  Brooke has been teaching swim lessons to younger swimmers for 2 years and enjoys running  and hanging out with friends when she is not in the pool.

Swim Instructor 

Triana

Triana has been swimming competitively for 10 years, she currently competes with Katy Aquatics as well as the Tompkins High School swim team. She’s very passionate about working with children, and thrives when exploring innovative techniques and ideas to help young swimmers develop their skills. She finds great joy in witnessing their growth, both in and out of the water. In her free time she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends!

Swim Instructor 

Alia

Alia has been swimming competitively for 9 years, and she currently swims for both Katy Aquatics and the Varsity swim team at Tompkins. She loves to help young swimmers find their confidence both in and out of the water! In her free time, Alia spends her time reading books and baking for her friends and family.

Swim Instructor

Chris

Coach Chris is a Firefighter/EMT and Eagle Scout who teaches swim lessons in his off time. He has been teaching lessons for 9 years and has coached for various swim teams as well as swimming competitively himself!

Swim Instructor

Rhiannon

Ms. Rhiannon was a competitive swimmer for over 7 years and has been teaching swim lessons for 8 years. She enjoys teaching the learn-to-swim basics for new swimmers as well as teaching the transition from learn-to-swim and competitive stroke. Rhiannon is a U.S. Navy Veteran and loves to spend her days at the beach!

My Vision

Learning to swim should be a fun and safe experience for everyone. At Graceful Swimming we strive to put safety and enjoyment into every step of learning how to swim. My goal is for every child to love being in the water and to be safe while doing it!

Grace Andrews
Founder of Graceful Swimming

Coach Grace has been coaching for 11 years on various competitive teams such as Tiger Swim Club, Fulshear Racing Swim Team, Katy Aquatics and The YMCA. She is a certified USA Swimming Coach, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI), as well as a YMCA and RedCross lifeguard and swim instructor!
